Bladensburg Waterfront Park

Meeting time and location: 9:15 a.m., 1205 Cambridge Community Center

Bladensburg Waterfront Park is located on the Anacostia River, and offers the community a place to gather, boat, fish, bike, play and learn more about the history of the river. Students will help with beautification projects around the park, including possibly picking up trash, painting and more.

Additional items to bring:

• Clothes that can potentially get dirty, wet or get paint on it, depending on the project
• Closed-toed shoes
• Tall socks in case of working in taller brush
• Water: Students should bring water bottles but they can refill at the park with water jugs (park has several), our bottle filling station, water fountains in the park, or sinks/hoses.
• Suncreen, hats and bug spray are also recommended
