Arts Service Day
Joe's Movement Emporium

Joe's Movement Emporium is based in Mount Rainier, Maryland, in the Gateway Arts District of Prince George's County. Joe’s serves more than 70,000 visitors annually. The cultural arts hub provides programming and productions in education, the performing arts and work readiness.

These projects will likely involve helping staff reset their studio and rehearsal spaces for the upcoming school year, which will include the cleaning of spaces and the reorganization of supplies and equipment. Projects may also include light gardening and landscaping around the exterior of the facility. While at the site, students will also have the opportunity to learn about the wide variety of arts programs, events and educational opportunities Joe's offers to all ages of local communities throughout the year.
