ATTEND OPEN HOUSE
Spring 2026 Admitted Student Open House sessions will take place in March and April. Registration is required and space is limited for the on-campus events.
Visiting UMD and College Park Scholars
We are excited to welcome you to campus! College Park Scholars will offer several opportunities for invited students and their families to visit our community and connect with current students and staff.
We have six In-Person Information Sessions to choose from, each taking place from 12-1:00 p.m. Registration is required and space is limited.

Our In-Person Information Sessions are intentionally held on the same day as "Next Stop Maryland" sessions, hosted by UMD's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. These sessions also include a tour of the campus.
Our hope is that you can join us for a Scholars In-Person Information Session after attending a 9:00 a.m. Next Stop Maryland session or before attending a 2:00 p.m. Next Stop Maryland session.
Registration for Next Stop Maryland is a separate process!
Students and their families are strongly encouraged register as early as possible to secure a spot in these sessions and make the most of their campus visits.

Our invitation process is not perfect! If you were not invited to Scholars but would like to be reconsidered, you may nominate yourself.
GET ON THE SCHOLARS WAITLIST
If you were invited to Scholars but did not complete the Program Preference Form by the deadline, you may request to be placed on the waitlist.
The Scholars waitlist information will be forthcoming.
COMPLETE UMD HOUSING APPLICATION
If you plan to live on campus, fill out your housing form before May 1.
