Employers specifically seeking UMD alumni use Handshake to post full-time, internship and part-time positions. You can search by industry, job function, geographic location, major, and other criteria. Use the system’s job alert feature to receive notifications of new postings matching your interests.
Alumni can also use Handshake to:
- Claim a seat at a wide variety of career workshops and employer events through your Handshake account.

- Access the Career Center’s exclusive career exploration and job search tools.
Whatever made your time on campus memorable -- a cultural organization, a student group, a living-learning community -- those bonds don’t end when you graduate.

Postsecondary Application Resources for Students Everywhere (PARSE) was created by a college student who wanted to ensure other future college students learned more about preparing for their university careers.
From researching scholarships to helping high schoolers grasp the application timeline to preparing to write entrance essays, PARSE is an excellent resource for students and their families.
Give to Scholars Legacy Fund
Too often $500 or $1,000 prevents a student from accepting the once-in-a-lifetime chance to study abroad or participate in a valuable internship. Donate to the Scholars Legacy Fund to fund co-curricular scholarships that allow Scholars to take on life-changing experiences.
Give to Kenneth A. Joseph Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Ken Joseph was a beloved mentor and colleague who worked at College Park Scholars from 1999 until his death in 2009. This scholarship, established in Joseph’s honor by his family, is awarded to a first-year Scholars student. Donate to keep Joseph's legacy alive and support the next generation of students.
