The Martha and Ira Berlin Legacy Fund Scholarship
The Martha and Ira Berlin Legacy Fund Scholarship provides awards to College Park Scholars students who have demonstrated academic excellence and an interest in expanding their Scholars experience by participating in research, community service, internships, or study abroad. Awards are for $1,000 to $3,000, depending on the level of need and the type of activity undertaken. Download the Berlin Legacy Fund Scholarship guidelines and application.
The College Park Scholars Co-Curricular Scholarship provides financial assistance to current Scholars and Scholars citation earners who can benefit from support for participation in active learning activities related to their Scholars curriculum, including travel-study experiences, research projects, student leadership development opportunities, for-credit internships, or service-learning initiatives.
Awards are for $200 to $500, depending on the type of activity undertaken. The deadline for summer- or fall-semester experiences is April 19. The deadline for winter-term or spring-semester experiences is Nov. 8. Priority will be given to applicants who have not received a co-curricular scholarship. Meghan Price Scholarship for Leadership and Public Service
The Meghan Price Scholarship for Leadership and Public Service honors the legacy and promise of Scholars Public Leadership alumna Meghan Price with an annual award of at least $1,000 for junior or senior students dedicated to leadership and service.
Nominations may be made by any member of the College Park Scholars community, including faculty, staff, instructors, Resident Life officials, and students. Self-nominations are encouraged. Download Meghan Price Scholarship application.
Each year, a selection of students who recently earned their Scholars citation are honored with Outstanding Achievement and Outstanding Citizenship Awards for exceptional performance in academics or contributing significant time, effort, and support to the Scholars community. Citation Awards involve a nomination, review, and selection process.
Founders Circle Awards
Each year, six students who recently earned their Scholars citation are honored for exemplifying the founding ideals and values of College Park Scholars. Awards involve a nomination, application, review and selection process. Self nominations are welcome. All applications for the 2020 Awards are due at 11:59 p.m., on Oct. 26, 2020.
