#SchlolarsAt30 at Maryland Day
College Park Scholars opened up its year-long 30th anniversary celebration to the entire University of Maryland community by participating in Maryland Day on April 26, 2025. The annual springtime tradition invites incoming Terps, current students, alumni, family and friends, and the College Park community to enjoy a day of family, fun and activities around the entire UMD campus.
In 2025, UMD also celebrated 100 years of Ag Day, the century-long tradition of spotlighting College of Agriculture and Natural Resources students’ work with livestock and honoring UMD’s roots as the Maryland Agricultural College.
Visitors to the Cambridge Community were treated to cake and ice cream, including the officially unofficial flavor Chocolloquium, games, family-friendly activities, and free swag.
Those who stopped by the Scholars celebration were encouraged to swing by the STAMP Student Union for Arts Fest, the annual exhibition showcasing the capstone projects of Arts Scholars sophomores, as well as visit the Merrill College of Journalism booth on McKeldin Mall to check out our Media, Self and Society Scholars in action.
