University of Maryland Open Houses
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Maryland will no longer be holding in-person open houses for admitted students this spring. You can learn more about the university, its academic colleges, housing and dining, and other student support units, through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions' virtual open house page.
College Park Scholars will also be holding virtual program-specific sessions for admitted students who want to learn more about the Scholars program into which they've been tracked. These sessions are taking place Wednesday, April 15; Thursday, April 16; and Friday, April 17. Please check our Events page to determine when your program will be holding its session and to register. For those who cannot make the live sessions, we will also be recording them and posting them on our website.
If you have specific questions about College Park Scholars or your individual program, we would be happy to set up a virtual meeting or speak with you on the phone. Call our office at 301-314-2777 or email AskCPScholars@umd.edu to make an appointment.
Scholars Program Placement Notification
In early March, you will receive both a letter and an email from College Park Scholars notifying you to which program you have been assigned. If you do not know what Scholars program you have been placed into, please log into your Coalition account.
UMD Enrollment and Housing/Dining Services Agreement
Deadline to confirm enrollment at the University of Maryland and submit your online housing/dining services agreement to the Department of Resident Life. We recommend submitting your housing application prior to the May 1 deadline as assignments are based on date of submission. Submitting the agreement by the May 1 deadline guarantees on-campus housing.
More information on Move-In Day in the Cambridge Community will be provided by the Department of Resident Life as it is available.
