Leigh Nelson

Leigh Nelson (she/hers) is the graduate assistant for Civic Engagement for Social Good. She has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Clemson University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs.

While attending Clemson she was a Resident Assistant, supporting on-campus residents. She completed her Peace Corps service as an education volunteer in Benin and also served as an AmeriCorps volunteer for Reading Partners, tutoring elementary school students to help them develop their literacy skills. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, and attending concerts.
