The University of Maryland has announced its senior marshals for Spring Commencement, slated for Friday, May 20. Six College Park Scholars alumni number among the 60 graduating seniors serving as marshals:

- Cynthia Eapen, Justice and Legal Thought
- Joseph David Houghton II, Business, Society and the Economy
- Dejuan Johnson, Media, Self and Society
- Abhirami Thaivalappil, Global Public Health
- Gabriela Winter, Public Leadership
Senior marshals, who lead graduating seniors into the main commencement ceremony, are selected for their exceptional scholarship, service to the campus community, extracurricular involvement and personal growth.
