Get Ready for April Attack!
April Attack! is a month-long team competition in which current Scholars earn points by attending events, hosting activities, and showing up across the community. Team up with 3 to 10 friends in your program, earn points, and climb the leaderboard all April long. The more you show up, the more points you earn. FAQs
Your team should be set before April 1! If your team is set before that date, there are two point-earning activities already on the calendar for you to get on the leaderboard early.
Remember:
- Your team can only have players on it from your Scholars program.
- The players must be current Scholars; no alumni Scholars allowed!
- You must have a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of 10 players on your team.
- Each player on your team needs to register to participate and agree to play fairly.
The absolute last day to sign up to join your team is April 10.
Players will gain points by attending events in the College Park Scholars community. Some of these events can be on the list of events found on this page.
You can also coordinate with a Peer Mentor to host an event and invite other Scholars from your program or open it to the whole Scholars community. To have points recorded successfully from your team-hosted event, you will need to have a sign-in sheet and take a photo of the event reflecting the attendance.
No worries! You can register to participate in April Attack! as a Free Agent. We will then work to match you with other solo players or have you added to a team (with less than 10 players!) already formed in your program.
The deadline to register as a Free Agent is April 8.
All teams formed by April 1 will be able to participate in the Rubber Duck Scavenger Hunt throughout the Cambridge Community and a Weed Warriors on Campus event.
The Weed Warriors on Campus event is Saturday, March 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Players interested in participating need to register to attend.
The Rubber Duck Hunt runs from April 1-3 or until all the rubber ducks are collected.
