Vivian Zohery is a doctoral student specializing in Science Education, where she focuses on epistemic agency and how student affect may act as a precursor to scientific reasoning. As a triple Terp, she obtained her master's degree in the same field (2020) from the University of Maryland, and holds a Bachelor of Science in physiology & neurobiology, with a minor in astronomy (2017).

Zohery is a STEM advocate, finding her passion in recruiting and retaining women in STEM fields and scholarship. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in its astronomy education program, where she got to share her love of telescopes at the Phoebe Waterman Haas Public Observatory.
