Assistant Director; Environment, Technology and Economy
Marcie Kim graduated from the University of Maryland in spring 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in environmental science and policy. She is an alumna of the International Studies Scholars Program and is excited to continue her involvement with the Scholars community. She is passionate about addressing environmental issues in the international development sphere, specifically natural resources management in areas sensitive to conflict, scarcity and climate change.
Kim is currently a Master of Public Policy candidate in international development. She has experience working in various areas of environmental policy, including nonprofit environmental advocacy groups, the federal government and consulting groups. When she has free time, she loves to go rock climbing, hiking and running. She can often be found exploring Washington, DC, rock climbing or trying out a new recipe.
