Ms. Katie Morton

Katie Morton is from San Francisco, where she served as the program director for Technovation:Girls, a global tech entrepreneurship program for girls. A master of public management candidate, Morton is interested in education and international development policy. Her career has centered around working with underserved children, especially girls, in a variety of settings, from urban slums in Bangalore to low-income housing in the United States.
Prior to joining Technovation, Morton participated in a social entrepreneurship fellowship in India and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in her hometown of Erie, Pa., working with refugee and immigrant families. She received a BA in political science in 2013.
Morton enjoys hiking and exploring nature, traveling internationally and volunteering for political causes.
