Graduate Assistant; Justice and Legal Thought
Brian Sarginger is a Graduate Assistant for the Justice & Legal Thought Program. Mr. Sarginger serves as the teaching assistant and grader for MLAW 100 and MLAW 150 and also provides support for the program.
Mr. Sarginger received his B.A. in philosophy from West Virginia University in 2009 and an M.A. in history and an M.A. in international relations from West Virginia University in 2011. Mr. Sarginger is currently pursuing his doctorate in history at the University of Maryland.
Prior to joining College Park Scholars, Mr. Sarginger spent three years instructing students in early and modern American history at Hillsborough Community College. Prior to that, Mr. Sarginger lived and studied in Estonia and Warsaw, Poland where he took courses at the University of Tartu and Collegium Civitas, respectively. Mr. Sarginger looks forward to helping the incoming College Park Scholars navigate their first year at the University of Maryland.
