Spring Recruiting Events
If you were invited to College Park Scholars and want to learn more about the program there will be a variety of opportunities this spring to learn more about us.
Participate in our Online Chat:
On Wednesday, March 5th, the College Park Scholars program will be having an online chat from 7pm – 9pm. Here you can talk with current students and faculty about general or specific questions you may have about the Scholars program. You may come and go as you please. If you only have 15 minutes to chat that’s perfectly fine.

Attend a University of Maryland Spring Open House:
During the spring the University has three Open Houses for you to learn more about Maryland. College Park Scholars will have information sessions during these Open Houses. At these information sessions you will have the opportunity to hear an overview of the College Park Scholars program, talk to current students and faculty from all 12 programs, and take a residence hall tour of the Cambridge Community.
The dates are as follows:
- Friday, March 28th
- Friday, April 4th
- Friday, April 18th

Schedule a Visit:
If you cannot make one of our Spring Open Houses we would be delighted to meet with you individually. You can call our office at 301-314-2777 to schedule an appointment with one of our admissions representatives. We arrange for appointments during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 4:30pm. Typically, our admissions representative will be joined by a current student to answer any questions you may have about the Scholars program.
